| HELP!! They have gum in their hair : ( I don't know to laugh or cry right now. Trixie and Paisley have gum in their hair. A lot of it is on the ends and I don't mind cutting a few inches off, but I don't want to shave them. I have no idea how this happened. Is there any easy way to get gum out? Oh and Pia has some in her beard. Geez, what a day its going to be.

| I just can't figure out where they got this gum from. I just found a little in Snoot's tail as well. I really hate to shave Trixie and Paisley because they grow soooooooooooo slow. Thanks for the help. I'm searching now.

| Maybe someone will have a better suggestion so please wait and see. But I know that Skin So Soft bath oil from Avon will take hardened road tar off of a car and it will remove the sticky goo from store tags from glass things. If nothing else, maybe you could try putting some on a cotton ball and try to work it out. I would wait to see what others suggest first though. Maybe there is a proven method that works great. Good luck.

| When I was a freshman in high school, long ago, a boy threw gum in my hair. Thank god those days are over. Anyway, I went home and rubbed peanut butter in it. I just kept rubbing in the peanut butter and it broke up the gum. It was amazing. I don't know if it's the oil in it or what but it worked great.

| Crush up some ice cubes and put them in a sandwich bag and put that on the gum until it gets cold. When the gum gets cold it'll sorta freeze and you can break it off. Of course, you can threaten to stick them in the freezer until the gum gets cold. This wouldn't work on Gracie, she'd be all for it. "Yea Momma! A new adventure!" Good luck.

I just found a really good link about using peanut butter. Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try this first. P.S. I'm glad those high school days are over too.

| Thanks for the reply Tanya. I'm going to try the peanut butter first since there seems to be a lot of articles online that say it works. If it doesn't, I'll be trying everything else.

| Hope the peanut butter works! If not there is a product called Goo Be Gone you can find in the laundry section at the grocery store. No home should be without a bottle! |
