| We're in NYC! Too hot hot! Yes, we love traveling. We have been in NYC since last Sunday and will be leaving back to Boston this Sunday. It is too hot outside that we haven't been able to do much. I am in Midtown.. and haven't gone outside yet.. and it is already almost 2 p.m... I wonder if anyone can suggest me some dog friendly place... that we can go in this hot weather... My bf is taking classes at Columbia all week.. so we are really free.. We went to Bryant Park, East Village, and SOHO so far.... oh and times square of course because it is right here... I don't really mean to do much of sightseeing.. but wanted to go to somewhere cool with her. It was so hot on Tuesday that I couldn't even walk Haruka on the ground.... Oh other thing is that Haruka smelled like a dog so quickly.. (I washed her on Sunday morning before I left...) so I washed her this morning.. So she smells so nice

| For the first time Haruka and I took trains to places.. We went to SOHO and I felt bad to Haruka because it has been too hot.. so I thought maybe I could buy something for her.. so we were heading to Thomson Street to Doggie Style (Dog Boutique) but as soon as we got there, they were closing... SO bad luck! Haruka is just sleeping like crazy.. I am sure she doesn't even want to step outside... Maybe I should head up north to Central Park... for a walk... we are a bit bored.

| I ended up going to upper east side.. 77st and lexington... stop.. We had to go see my bf's classmates .. at party... Near 77st/lex stop, there was a sign of "Puppies and Kitten" or something like that. I saw many yorkies there.. price was between 1800 and 3500, the owner said.. they were cute, but I walked away right away.. I thought it would be a pet store, but didn't think that they were literally selling dogs and cats... it was small store with tons of animals... Tomorrow... I will try to go to Central Park.. I have been wanting to go to "today's show" but I have been lazy.. and sleeping in late...

| We're actually right there.... We would like that I was always scared of taking train in NYC, but Haruka and I are going out! Train system is pretty awesome here in NYC.... So I have to figure out where I am going tomorrow... I requested a week off in July too and hoped to come back here again... We will see... I want to buy "I love NY" t-shirt for Haruka.. she has one sweatshirt, but doesn't have a shirt.. I wonder where I can buy one for her.. she is still very small... We have two full days We should get best of this trip...!!!
