If you're looking for a dog-friendly shop, try Trixie & Peanut. I haven't been to NY in years and years and years but I order from their website all the time and they have the MOST adorable things for small dogs - here's the info:

Trixie + Peanut Pet Emporium
Located in New York City
at 23 East 20th Street
(btwn B'way + Park Ave)
Store Hours:
Tues - Sat 11am - 8pm.
Sunday 12noon - 5pm.
Closed on Mondays.

Ya.. it's a nice store.. we have been there before.. It looks smaller than it seems on the site.... We bought winter coat and I love NY hoodie there... They are my favorite

I may want to try "The NEw York Shop" today... I need to explore all different places..

Omg they are both so sweet. Haruka is such a cuddle muffin. She turned a lot of heads sitting out on my lap. Hopefully when she comes back next month I can sneak Zoey to work with me and they can have a short playdate/introduction.

Bizzymammabee is so sweet too. She was very nice and haruka sure loved being on her lap. We hope that we can come back next month.

She was working at a couple building downs from our hotel. Small world. It was great meeting with her!!!!

I'm at Columbus and 73 eating lunch. Then I'm heading to new York dog shop. So excited!

New York is definitely dangerous. Haruka got NY t shirt and some toys. Now we are relaxing at starbucks next door. Hmmm where should we head to. Haruka and Michiko's adventure continues.

omg..i am so sad i didn't get to meet you since i was at work!!! I live right across from the dog shop at one of the brown stones!! You must come back next time so we can meet!

Ya. I would have loved to meet with you too... Today.. I'm gonna relax and do some work at hotel.... so it is a nap day for Haruka.. But who knows... NYC is still dangerous for us... we may end up going out

I have to get some lunch but plan to stay in Midtown... and walk around near rockfeller center... Then we have to go to party.. in the evening.. (urgh.... )

It has been much better in terms of the weather... Haruka seems to love walking around NYC. Oh .. my bf's classmates are thinking about Haruka to be their class mascot.. So she is becoming popular

I saw that NY people were planning to have the meet-up.. but got cancelled.. I don't know if my vacation request for next month was approved, but I would love to come back and meet some people
