| How often is too often? Question: How often is too often to bathe your pup? Callie got a bath last on Friday, was outside all day yesterday running around being social at my graduation party, and now stinks like crazy. I want to give her a bath again but don't want to dry her out. Thanks in advance

| I personally wouldn't bathe more than once a week unless there was no way around it. (Like the time Preston played in a mud hole the day after he got his bath, that was great! HA HA) If it is just a matter of smelling bad, you might try what I do between baths. I got some Aussie leave in conditioner, and when I comb him, I use that to make sure to not damage his hair when combing. The great benefit to this is that he smells wonderful, and the smell lasts for several days.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I bathe both of mine about every 4-5 days, 6 at the most. The only time I ever went longer between baths was when Ruby was spayed and that was about 2 weeks.

| I think it's OK as long as you don't do it all the time. Go for it!

| I bathe Duke once every week to two weeks, unless he starts scratching himself or finds dirt to roll in, then I will give him a bath sooner.

| for us Friday night is bath day. In between when they get dirty from playing they get wash downs with a damp wash cloth or a baby wipe. Especially in the face area to keep their eyes clean. Also be sure to groom before bath to get any mats/nots out cause bathing them with the mats will only make matters worse. Believe me I have lived that nightmare recently. thanks to YT I learned the right way and things are now going good AND groom after while damp and IMO use a leave in conditioner/detangler to keep them looking good. We brush the furbutts teeth 2 times a week also. Sunday & Thursday are furbutt dental days And of coure daily grooming to keep these ever so hard to control cotton coats like Koda's looking nice. With Kammie it's every 2 days for grooming since she doesn't mat or tangle at all. |

| Thanks ya'll I gave Callie a bath and she still stinks, I hope she's not sick, or she didn't eat something off someone's plate from the party that is making her skin stink. We go to the vet this week, so if she still stinks maybe she can give me a better idea as to what's going on. Thanks again!!!!!
