| Ellie is not chipped and will never be. I wonder if in a few years they will be connected to disease because it is a foreign body which can't be healthy. I don't think there is a big concern of tumors though. Tumors can happen from any injection (like vaccines).

| My mentor is using microchips to identified his little ones . In 15 years , he never had little ones that were sick or had tumor or cancer . I am using this method and never had problems so I'll continue to use microchips. |

| My Chi is microchipped because it was required when we moved to Hawaii. I recently read an article on LiveScience.com that said that microchips have been causing cancer in lab mice&rats. I really regret getting my Chi microchipped, because I don't want her to get cancer. I will NOT be getting Bear microchipped. I don't want to risk it. It's just not worth it in my opinion.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Everything has certain risks, but after reading the studies, I believe that there is much more to be gained than lost with the microchip.

| 2 weeks ago , Selena escaped from my home . 12 hours later , I received a phone call telling me that she was at a vet clinic . I went and picked her up , I also asked for the name and phone of the person who found her . Needless to say that I gave a gift to this wonderful old woman . |
