| Gog Grooming Parlour names - apt or silly? Hi - well today is the day that ol' Cooks (Cookie) goes the the doggie beauty parlour. While I was looking through listings for dog groomers, I was laughing my butt off at some of the names, needless to say, I never called these people because as soon as the person at the other end picked up and announced the name of the parlour, I would have bust out laughing. Some of the names are - Shampoodle & Setter, Woof Cuts, Canine Cuts, Posh Paws...... Has anyone got any to add to the list??? Update on my new baby, well I was due to pick her up this Saturday, the 2nd July, but I can have her tomorrow - yaaaaaayyyy!!!! I stil can't get a personal avator - all my pics are too big and when I take a distance shot, it doesn't look right - appreciate some help here I will, however, take pics of my new baby, Misty and Cooks as soon as I get her home and post them in the gallery See you soon

| Hey Paul! Avatars are tricky, but if you're getting a error on picture size that's easy to correct. My software has "Image" on the toolbar. When I click on that I go to "Resize". I use that to reduce the picture to below the max size allowed for the avatar. Then just save it. Hope that helps. I love your idea for a thread! In my yellow pages there are: Chris' WagginTails Inc,; Connie's Pet Parade; Klassy Kut Poodle Parlor; O'Hairs All Breed Pet Grooming; Paw's Inn; and my personal fav, Spoiled Rotten Pet Grooming!

Not sure I'd want to go to a groomer named "Lazy Bonez." The name makes me think they'd not do a good job. I know it's just a name, but I'm in PR and a name and image means everything. You wouldn't want to name a pizza place "Crappy, Moldy Pizza Place" LOL!! I know I'm completely over analyzing, but it just strikes me as strange to use that name! | |

In my experience 'word of mouth' is the best advertisement.. Lazy Bonez has a very good reputation in this area... Very good groomers and less expensive and more accomodating than the others. I probably wouldn't buy a pizza at "Crappy, Moldy Pizza Place" tho.
