| Whats a Mother To Do !!!!! I had posted this in the general thread, but think I should have posted it here....(I'm still learning) Anyway, My lil one has just started yet another new habit the other day....while she is in her xpen in the kitchen during the day she has somehow figured out how to get the plastic grate off her wizdog and get to the newspapers underneath.....she is almost 7 mths old and she is suddenly coming up with more n more things to keep me on my toes....I don't want to have to clean up torn up newspaper everynight when I get home (not to mention if she is injesting any of it) so I tried today just using her WizDog without the newspaper. (of course that means I will have to hose it off/out every night...which should be so much fun come the winter.... Anyway, I get home this evening and she still got the grate off, but there were no papers underneath. I'm going to try this for a few days without newspapers underneath and see if she maybe her obsession with getting the newspaper will fade without any being there....Soooooooo can anyone give me any suggestions on how I should address this matter __________________

| I don't think I can help because I don't have a "WizDog" but I'm thinking I can guess what it is. Assuming that I'm right, are you worried that if she gets the grate off, she'll get in the pee puddle if there's no paper or pad? What about a cloth/washable pad underneath? Maybe she wouldn't be so interested in shredding then?

| i'm not sure what a wizdog is either, but have you tried to put puppy potty pads where you usually put the news paper? they are scented to attract puppies to go potty on, plus they aren't shred-able (is that even a word? lol) hope it helps! |

| What about using a washable pee pad? She wouldn't be able to shred that |
