Is it to late to fix?? I have a one year old who has always had one ear up and one ear down. I think that's one of the reason he was significantly cheaper than his siblings. Anyhow, we gave him chew toys when he was a pup and that droopy ear only goes up if he hears something and is "listening". Does anyone know if it can still be trained to go up or is it just going to be this way?? We aren't going to show him or anything so it's not a big deal either way--just more of a curiousity.

You can try shaving the hair from the ears so they are lighter & then stand the ear up and tape them. This picture shows both ears but you can actually do one, I will try to explain how, I couldnt find a pic. Ok so stand the ear up now w/a finger pointed down, fold the ear forward around the finger like a hotdog bun & your finger is the hot dog, now place tape from one side to the other to keep the form , remove finger, now the ear will stand up. I dont know if its to late to train it to stay up, but you wont know if you dont try

How long are you supposed to keep them taped up? Do you undo the tape when it's bedtime and redo it in the morning?
