| Abbie Waves Bye-Bye!!! Guess what?!?!? I taught Abbie to wave bye-bye! She's learned it so well that now, whenever I tell her to sit she just automatically waves!!!! So cute! My girl is so smart! Now, if I could just get her to come when I call her....hhhhmmmmm.

| How to Teach Bye-Bye It's so easy! You start by putting them in the sit position and then you hold a treat in your fist with it just barely showing. As soon as she puts her paw up to touch your hand to get to the treat, you praise and give it to her. You keep doing this, making her paw at your hand longer and longer each time before you praise and give the treat. After they know if the paw at your hand long enough, they'll get the treat, you start moving the treat far enough away that they can't touch your hand while they stay seated. This is the tough part because some dogs will want to get up to get to your hand. You just have to make them sit again. Before you know it, they will "paw" the air which looks just like a bye-bye wave! You don't have to give treats after awhile. Whenever I tell Abbie to sit now, she just automatically waves bye-bye! It's so cute though when someone is leaving and I tell her to sit down and tell so and so bye for now! I'll try to figure out had to put a video on here later today if I have time. Good Luck! Let me know how it goes!

| For coming when called...try hiding from her and call her. She'll be curious as to what you're doing...if she finds you, give her a treat. You'll need to call a couple of times depending on how far away from her you are...This worked for Winnie. She thinks it's a game. |
