| Rain? So Bella is now 7 months and is trained to go potty outside when we are home and when she's in her area (while we work) she goes on her pads. So it just started raining here in California and she refuses to go outside and ends up going on the carpet! I guess she doesn't want to get wet!! We don't have a patio cover so I'm wondering what I can do! Any suggestions? |

| The only thing you can do is make a covered area outside or train her to also use the pads iinstead of going outside. Since she is already using the pads in her area that shouldnt be that difficult. Mine wont go outside when its raining either but I have a covered porch that they will go on

| This is the crunch point!! They hate the rain at least mine do! But I have found they will eventually go out but with a lot of coaxing. Lottie is now 100% housetrained and will now not use the pads even for emergencies!!! Alfie is the same once he turned about 8 months old he would not use the pads,I got them little raincoats for going out but sometimes we just wait it out and eventually they want out. Best of luck

| Cozy does not mind getting wet but she doesn't like it when it is cold and raining. I had to get her boots and raincoat for when it is raining so that her little body and feet don't get cold. I am also right outside getting wet and cold, too. She gets the umbrella held over her head as she walks and I am left out in the rain. But she will go to the bathroom outside them. I don't use pee-pee pads at all. |

| Lily is 4 1/2 months now and we have had a TON of rain here lately. She hates it. I feel so bad for her when she is setting there looking at me all pitiful so I keep an umbrella on the back porch and I hold it over her LOL, that has helped. Maybe try that.

| Venus is 4 months old. She doesn't even like going on the grass in the middle of the night when dew is out there! I'm so thankful I made a cover for my large patio, and have a smaller patio that isn't covered out back too. Lord help me when it starts raining here again! I think the raincoat idea is a great one since you don't have a covered patio! |

| My yorkie Peanut is 10 months old, I live in an apartment and Peanut does not want any part of the rain. What I do is hold the leash tight so he can't roam anywhere and I usually walk over top of him with my big golf umbrella while he does his business then we walk back inside together! Hope this helps!
