| Training a dog to like being in a closed stroller or purse? I have a purse, a sling, and a stroller. Lola only likes the stroller if it's unzipped. She'll kinda tolerate the sling and she doesn't like the purse. She's not crate trained. This is the purse http://www.fatwallet.com/mobile/foru...php?aid=256022 The top has 2 long zippers to open and one side had a door that zips open. I've been using cheese to guide Lola through the door, but she stretches her back legs so they don't have to enter the bag, grabs the cheese, and darts out. Any ideas? |

| I put a comfy blanket in the purse with tiny treats scattered in & UNDER the blanket. I put the purse under my desk @ my feet while working. Phoebe started jumping in to root around for the treats. Now the purse is her favorite place to sleep when my lap is not available.

| I closed the side door & Phoebe started hoping in the top to get to the treats. I had to put her in with the treats the first few times. Good luck!

I took her to the mall in her closed stroller today. She did very well as long as I kept moving. She did let out a few barks and a play growl at first though. | |

| I would just suggest carrying the purse everywhere with you. Even with her not in it. Talk to it like its another another puppy. Imolement it in with training. Ie: have her sit near it. Reward her like regular. Place your pjs with your scent inside. As well with treats. Leave open at all times. It may just take time for her to explore. Take one item to get used to at a time. May be overwhelming objects for her. Hopefully this helps. I would also try walking her around the house in the stroller everywhere yall go. Same with purse. She will get used to to it. With time I'm sure.!
