| Bebe is a MENACE We have to keep a baby gate across the hallway because Bebe tries to run out the door, and she does not come when she's called so if she runs out we're afraid we couldn't catch her. Whenever we or company leave the house, she will jump at the gate and bark. If she gets to you, she will hold onto whatever clothing she can latch on to. If you get out before she gets to you, she will run in circles barking and then jump on the back of the couch and bend the blinds to watch you leave. How do I get her to stop doing this? I tried correction, not hitting but giving a sharp NO and telling her to sit (which she ignores at this crazed state). I've tried throwing a treat when we leave, to let her know that something good happens when we leave. She ignores the treat! She's with two other dogs, who don't care when we leave. You'd think she'd see their behavior and copy it. And how do I get her to come when called? Every morning I have the leashes, my three other dogs are at the ready (practically on top of me to put their leashes on). Bebe sits in the background, usually in the doorway. And I tell her "Bebe come, wanna go outside?" and she just sits there. I tried having a treat in my hand, she doesn't want it. The moment I inch forward, she runs away. So I get up and have to go get her. I walk around saying "Bebe come, wanna go outside?" and I have to literally FIND her because she hides under something!! But once she's outside with everyone she acts like the leader, walking along side my 70lb pit bull as if she were a body builder. She loves her walk I don't get why she hides and acts like she doesn't want to go! I tried leaving her behind if she doesn't come when called but all she does is pees on her pad and watches us outside the window.
