| Maddie is becoming a STAR OK, maybe not a star but I never thought we would get to the point of really training. She knows sit and down. I have been working with Monkey and she sees us and I think she got jealous. My husband was the one who noticed her jealousy more than me since I "snuck off" with Monkey about 3-5x a day to work on his trainings. Anyway, she is so timid and her really really safe spot is on our bed SO... if she wants to spend special 1:1 time with mommy we go into the bedroom and do "sit" and "down" while she is on the bed. She is doing these so well we are adding stay, leave it and touch now. I know I say it all the time on here about her but she is still just amazing me at what a special little girl she has become. After we first got her I never would have thought we were going to be able to get through to her. But rescue dogs can learn to have a GREAT life. It just takes extra time and willingness to proceed at their level of comfort. My dream for her is that she will progress to the point where she can pass the CGC and I really think she would like agility or nose work because she can be a crazy little thing. LOL! But I have to remember to just make her dreams come true. Thanks for reading/listening!

| That is so awesome for Maddie! So many times the rescues have been through so much. But you are right, they can end up with a great life. So glad you have Miss Maddie and giving her that special time she needs.
