| New Yorkie... Hello everyone! I'm new to this site. My dad bought me a Yorkie puppy, I named her Autumn Raine (full name) and call her Autumn or Autty. We got her at the beginning of nine weeks, and has had her for about two weeks now. I love her. I was just wondering how long it usually takes for a female Yorkie to become potty trained ... ? I also was wanting to know when I should start beginning to teach her tricks (shake, roll over, sit, spin, etc.) Thanks for the info!!! I'll try to post pictures of her sometime soon. |

| Both of mine were potty trained by 6 months old. Before that they still had accidents. We started teaching them tricks about 10 weeks old they could do things like sit and lay down then taught them the harder tricks like play dead and roll over.

| bang bang is the same as dead but you use a gun hand signal. When I trained my dogs to do tricks I used hand signals in addition to telling them what to do.
