| I Give Up... I've tried everything. It has been a year since I got Scruffs and he still isn't house trained. If I don't take him out when he wants to go out he will go in the house. He doesn't go in his crate or in my room, but if I forget to close my door when doing homework he goes downstairs. I have tried leaving him in his crate the entire time unless I take him on a walk or go poo, and obviously that works but I felt bad after several weeks of this and it made no improvement. I take him out at least once an hour (unless he is in his crate). I give him praise when he goes out. I clean the carpets so they don't smell like pee/poo. I don't know what to do. I guess he will have to be in his crate for the next year until he is trained, but that is no life for a dog. I am tired of this and I need him to be trained before I go to college or my sister won't watch him. He has gone four months without only two accidents over the summer this year, but he had over 10 in the last week. He doesn't like the cold. I am thinking of trying pee pads so I'm going to go get them now. I hope they work. If anyone knows of a good trainer that can give me more advice than just stick with a schedule, praise when they go outside, and crate when you aren't watching please PM me. I will try anything. Thanks, Vanessa
