| Potty Training Regression/Holidays Right before Thanksgiving we thought our yorkie, Cooper, who is nine months old was finally house trained. Then came the Thanksgiving holiday at our house with over 25+ people which overwhelmed him and other gatherings, a broken routine that week due to our family being very busy and presto- he started to have accidents inside the house again. I spoke with his dog trainer that we took classes from earlier this summer and she stated that sometimes puppies will regress with their potty training around the holidays. Have anyone else heard of this or had this happen to your puppies before? Still, even though it has been a few weeks since Thanksgiving, things are just not getting back on track. Our routine hasn't been the norm still either. Our schedule for our family from Thanksgiving thru New Years is very hectic. I might just have to wait til Jan. 1 to wait and start to retrain him again. Is there hope for him? We hope that he will eventually get trained. Thank you for listening! Coffeegirl
