| Potty/playing concerns So we are trying to potty train two pups. I think it is going okay...although there are still accidents. When should we be able to expect them to go to the door and whine? Also, Ozzie tends to pee a little at a time...so after we come in, within 15 minutes and then so on. They are on medication for coccidia and we didn't know if that would cause this? We just don't know what to do...it is really frustrating and we were just making sure that it was normal? And what we could do about it? Another question. Of course these guys LOVE to play. The run together and play tug, etc. We were just wondering what is too much? Some times they tend to get mouthy with eachother, a yelp or two has only happened a couple times because of course we are always watching. But when do we stop them? Should we let them work it out or should we keep tellng them to be nice and stepping in? We obviously want to make sure that the future is the best it can be for them together, so is this just puppy play or what? Thanks Haley |

| Judging from your pic the pups look very young so I would not expect them to tell you they need to go just yet. It takes a while for yorkies to catch on sometimes up to and over six months of age.If they are on meds that could affect them too. When we had a puppy here he would do the same thing. He would pee outside then come in and pee. I kept him out a few minutes longer after his first pee and he usually did another one I believe they are just puppy playing and I would let them work it out for themselves.Could make them nervous if you get involved too much. When we had the pup here with our two year old they would wrestle bark chase each other etc and there was no problem with the pup getting hurt. We had to give up the pup as I was very allergic to him Good luck with your little ones |
