| Questions about crates and pens This is not really about Gypsy but I know this is a great place to ask furkid questions. Hubby is talking about getting a crate for my new puppy the boston terrier. She is eating at the office door and wall that Gypsy worked on when she was a pup. Can you recommend a good pen or crate? It has been suggested on the boston terrier forum I go to that Midwest Life Stages are a good brand. But is a crate or cage better. Help me yorkie lovers, I know you give the best advice.

| I would probably recommend getting a taller crate as Boston Terriers get somewhat bigger than yorkies. I really like our expen. We kept Hot Rod's crate, food, water and pad in there. It was really a relief for me since I was working irregular hours. I knew that he had everything he needed if I didn't get home right away. Hubby purchased the expen so I don't know what brand it is but I think that it might be the one you are looking at. It is gold mesh. Mine is 2' by 2' and there are 8 panels. I can add to it also. Good luck.

| Questions about crates and pens I bought a super yard from Babies R Us, my 3 pound yorkie climbed right out. I hated the thought of him in a crate. He does have a crate with a bed inside it but the door is mostly open but he does sleep in the crate. I had to go with a gate across the door. And then with the gate we had to put plexi glass on it as he was small enough to get though the bars of that. |
