| Grass Litter Box????????? Hi everyone! My little baby gucci is 11 months old. I live in a high ranch, he doesn't do stairs, so my deck is his potty! Now we are getting a new deck and hubby is flipping out about Gucci using it as a potty, and rightfully so. BUT...how the heck am I gonna retrain him to go in a box? Is this even possible!? I was looking at boxes and saw the grass ones. Does anyone have these, and do they work? I want to leave the box out on the deck, I can't have him thinking he can go in the house. Any suggestions on which box and how to retrain him? |

| I have heard good things about the Rascal ones. Considering getting one myself. Right now we are using potty pads with a holder which seems to be working but the expense of constantly buying pads makes the Rascal look pretty good especially since we want to train outside as well.

| Do a search for porch potty. It looks like what you are talking about. I might even try it. |

| I recently purchased the Little Rascal Litter Box and I'm glad I did. The training at first was a little difficult because they have never used a Litter Box before or have been trained to go potty in the house. After some helpful suggestions I have my younger baby using the litter box. I have been keeping it in her ex pen at night or with her when I'm gone during the day. We have had four successful days with her using it. One extremely helpful suggestion was to wait until I absolutely knew she had to go potty and then put her in an ex pen just big enough to fit her litter box. The first day we tried this and although I said go potty more times than I cared to she eventually went. Everyday since then we have had at least one success. I don't rely on the box, they primarily use our yard but I wanted them to have something else to use in the event I had to be away for a while. I would definitely reccomend this product. Although the initial product was somewhat expensive, the amount saved in litter and buying new grass each month is a better option.

| We have the Rascal. It took him one day with the pee pads on the grass for him to get the concept. A few more days with half a pee pad on it just to make sure he understood and now he's using it exclusively. He's just now 15 weeks, we had him with his crate in an xpen just big enough for the crate and the Rascal, so he had no choice but to use it. The past few days we've made the xpen bigger with some bare floor and the Rascal and so far, so good. No accidents. |
