| Too early to celebrate but I think she gets it! Just had to share that Diva is 9.5 weeks old and we've been using crating and pee pads to get her housetrained. The past couple of days, she's been walking over to her pad - unprompted - to potty. Woohoo! Then just this morning, she not only went potty on her own, but poop too!!! I know, tomorrow is another day, heck, later today may not work, but I just had to share that she *might* be making a connection. I didn't want to use pads, but I'm in an apartment for the next 7 months until my household moves down. So far, so good. Keeping fingers crossed. |

| Isn't it great when they get the idea? You wanna break out the noise makers and party hats But don't slack off on the guard When you least expect it esp this early in the game ..... it's and you feel like you're back to square one But they will get it They all do

| Haha, that awesome! The other poster is right though... don't let down your guard yet, not one inch. And don't give too much freedom just yet either, I totally agree on that. I can't believe at 9 1/2 weeks she's doing that well. Wow! I love crate training too. :-) I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that things keep going so well, but don't be too upset if she regresses... 9 1/2 weeks is so young to be so perfect! | Oh no, she's not getting much freedom at all. Especially unsupervised. We're home in MI right now and my house is not puppy-proofed and it's on the market now too. I can't have her make any slip ups anywhere. She's confined to a small area in my kitchen where I have ceramic tile flooring. I'm hoping we can continue on a path to success, but we'll see. |
