| Ambrose is bitting us when we clip his nails! I'm so frustrated. Ambrose does a really good job, except for when we clip his nails. My BF is convinced Ambrose does not respect us as leaders but I really don't have any problems with his behaviors, except for when we are clipping his nails. Does anyone have any ideas of how we can clip his nails in peace? I've tried giving him treats after each clip. It was successful but it's not any more. My BF thinks we need to go Ceaser Millan on his ass. What do you think? |

| I have 5 dogs and I can cut 4 of their nails, the 5th dog a tiny chihuahua hates to have his nails cut and I had to muzzle him to do it and he got out of the muzzle and bit me!! So we take him to the groomer to have his nails cut once a month!! It is not worth the hassle for me! The groomer has no problem with him and he is the perfect gentleman with him!! Go figure?

| Some dogs just don't like having certain things done, he isn't biting you because he doesn't respect you he just doesn't like it and is showing you in the only way he knows how, as the last post said it is not worth being in his bad books for that, just take him to the vets or groomers. |
