tearing up plants My Kobe is now become a gardner. I come home every day and he has trimmed off a couple more leaves off the plants. He knows he's been a bad boy because he hides underneath the table with his ear way back (look really cute). I have the cleanest rugs in town because I've got to vacuum every day. How can i keep him from doing this? We think it's because we've theft him alone. But he's only alone for about 3-4 hours.

if you catch him doing go over pick him up and say no! in a stern voice. If you do this enough times maybe he will stop.are you sure the plants aren't poisonous to pets? So many are.

I'd be very careful of plants as many are poisonous to dogs. Can you possibly put them on something that he can't get to them on?

I had Rocco at the vets office a few weeks ago,he had eaten some plant out in the front yard and he was so sick,he vomited about 10-15 times in 15 minutes so I rushed him to the vet. By the time they seen him he had stopped and was ok but it scared the poop out of me that's for sure! We have had to dig up most of the flowers that were here when we moved in. I looked them up on the interent and only a few were ok.

He's been doing this off and on for a couple of weeks and he seems to be ok. I have put them in another room where he can't get to them. I will check internet to see if poisonous. thanks

| Maybe its his coping mechanism for seperation anxiety. Try giving him a stuffed kong or something similar to divert it while you are gone.
