Selling AVON....Need your help!!

I just picked up a side job as a Avon Rep. I am very excited at starting my own business :-D. Selling Avon is a great way for anyone to have an extra income. I have been buying Avon products for sometime now and Avon has expanded a lot in variety of the things they carry makeup, haircare, home decor, lingerie, perfume, to items for men.....Avon is a great way to pick up gifts or treat yourself to nice things.

I am going to be submitting my first order on April 27 and if ONLY 15 Yters purchase 20.00 from me I will have reached my first small goal.

Everyone that purchases at least 20.00 will get also receive a FREE GIFT!! Please help me in reaching my first goal.

I too, sell Avon...good luck with your sale. How do you plan on collecting payment and shipping? Have you set yourself up as a Erep? That makes online purchases alot easier.

I will accept payments through Paypal and money orders. Also I am setting up my online store so, it will be shipped directly to them.

Here is what you do. Get a pad and pencil, go to each and very door(write down the address) asking if it would be ok to leave an Avon brochure on their porch every couple of weeks. Then write yes or no by the address so you will know where to leave them. Also come back at a different time to the houses where no one was home. This way you will know about how many brochures to buy. You should also write down if the person is male, female, young old and so on. Maybe jot down if there are pets. Jot down any names you see on the mail box or plaque. Don't forget to carry some with you everywhere you go. Have them in your purse so you can give them out to people you may run into that you know, or leave a couple in the break room of the grocery stores.
Your already off to a very bad start by trying to get people who don't even live near you to order and then you will have to pay postage to send them a brochure then their order and hope like crazy they pay you, or maybe they don't like the product and want to give it back. Are you going to make them pay postage for that?
Buy some samples of something that will be in the next brochure so you can staple it in the brochure on the right page. Be sure to get a stamp made with your name and phone number to put on the back of all the brochures.
Also put a sticky on the front of the brochure letting seniors know they will get 10% off. Good luck.

My mom sold Avon when we were little. I still have fond memories of the living room FILLED with little white bags while we all worked together to put the orders together.

Thanks for you help, but even if I don't get a single order on here I am still doing local things so I am going to correct you and say I am off to a VERY GOOD start . Thanks for the advice but this was just an option to offer it on here also I am in the process of getting my online store so it was going to be shipped directly to my clients but thanks for your advice anway.

I think its great you posted this here! I never knew you could look at Avon things online! I don't use their makeup (I have crazy sensitive skin) but I love Avon's jewelry & other misc. items! I'll be looking to see if there's anything that catches my eye! Thanks

Ok go to WWW.AVON.COM

On the left they have a link “Locate your Representative Online” Click There

Then it will take you to a page with 2 boxes on the box to the RIGHT you would type in your representative’s Last Name & State (in my case you would type in JONES) & for the State you would find LA then click SEARCH

Then a list of people with that reps last name will pull up and if you were searching for me you would be looking for “CHRISTINA JONES” I am currently on the 2nd page, last one on the list.

Then you can shop my store, contact me, and view my website.
