Here is what you do. Get a pad and pencil, go to each and very door(write down the address) asking if it would be ok to leave an Avon brochure on their porch every couple of weeks. Then write yes or no by the address so you will know where to leave them. Also come back at a different time to the houses where no one was home. This way you will know about how many brochures to buy. You should also write down if the person is male, female, young old and so on. Maybe jot down if there are pets. Jot down any names you see on the mail box or plaque. Don't forget to carry some with you everywhere you go. Have them in your purse so you can give them out to people you may run into that you know, or leave a couple in the break room of the grocery stores.
Your already off to a very bad start by trying to get people who don't even live near you to order and then you will have to pay postage to send them a brochure then their order and hope like crazy they pay you, or maybe they don't like the product and want to give it back. Are you going to make them pay postage for that?
Buy some samples of something that will be in the next brochure so you can staple it in the brochure on the right page. Be sure to get a stamp made with your name and phone number to put on the back of all the brochures.
Also put a sticky on the front of the brochure letting seniors know they will get 10% off. Good luck.
