Here are the Featured Yorkie For Sale Forum Post Rules:

This featured Yorkies for Sale forum is for all the YorkieTalk Donating Members that are breeders. The fee for advertising in the Featured Yorkies for Sale section is $75 for one year, prepaid. Please PM admin directly if you are interested in becoming a Featured YT Breeder.

Featured YT Breeders must be Donating Members first before they can be a Featured YT Breeders. We require Featured YT Breeders to offer a one-year health guarantee. The health guarantees and the Yorkie selling contract must be viewable by any potential buyers. To be a Featured YT Breeder, a member must be a member of YorkieTalk for at least three months before they may be a Featured YT Breeder.

We require YT Featured Breeders to have at least one year experience breeding Yorkies, or have personally handled at least two previous Yorkie litters already before they can join the program.

Note that if you choose this option, you may NOT post any new threads in the Yorkie For Sale forums. It is not a requirement if you have a Web site to post in this forum, but you may choose this one if you would like, as you can not post in both.

1. Featured breeders may post up to ONE Featured Yorkies For Sale thread per week. You may post your Yorkies for sale as soon as they are born (there is no 10 week waiting period for Featured YT Breeders). You may not post the same Yorkie for sale in more than one thread. If you have a lot of information to update in your thread and wish to create a new thread, you may do so, but you must PM admin or a moderator so they can close your older thread (we may delete it at our discretion). The below For Sale form must be included in each thread.

2. You are allowed TWO bumps of your thread per week. When you bump it is up to you. You may answer any questions people have of your product, but any post not related to a question will be considered a bump. (Any posts you make within THIRTY MINUTES of your initial thread will not be considered a bump. This could be for listing multiple pictures.) Any threads with bumps over the limit will be CLOSED IMMEDIATELY.

3. You must title your post with your City and State and include your full name (first and last name). If you list a Yorkie having a Champion dam or sire, you must list the dam and sire's name as well as the registration (AKC, UKC, etc) of the Champion. You must include prices of the Yorkie(s). For contact information, you must either list your Web site address, your email, or your phone number. You may list all three if you would like, but at least one is required.

4. Please do not reply with questions unless you are seriously interested in the Yorkies listed for sale. Replies with positive feedback (such as 'Your Yorkie is adorable!' or 'Good luck finding him a forever home!') is allowed. Feel free to PM breeders directly if you want. Off topic posts will not be tolerated.

5. Threads may be closed after 30 days, but still viewable, searchable, and not deleted from YorkieTalk.

6. If you do not follow these rules, your threads and posts may be deleted and you may be suspended. Other abuses of the Yorkies for Sale forum may also lead to suspension or banning.

Please use caution when purchasing from any individual member or Web site. Buy at your own risk. We recommend all members do their homework and research and read all contracts before purchasing a Yorkie.

We do NOT ALLOW any Yorkies for sale if you personally aren't selling them yourself unless approved in advance by us. We have had too many issues and problems of members "selling for their friend, etc." If they want to post a Yorkie for sale, let them create their OWN YorkieTalk account and post the details themselves. We will NOT ALLOW any brokers, puppy mills, agents, or anyone posting Yorkies for sale if they are not in your possession. You MUST have the Yorkie(s) in your possession if you want to post in here unless you have permission in advance.
