This is an update to an earlier post concerning this breeder.LeeAnn Vanderpol aka LeeAnn Rost, toycuties.com, Paw Patch Kennels, aka PawPatch puppies. Please see Fendi's story in this forum for the entire story about our Fendi. This breeder out of Venus, Texas sold us a female yorkie puppy with a genetic/conginital spinal deformity. Within a few short weeks after the purchase of Fendi, she became paralyzed. (Possible inbreeding issue)We had this puppy for less than 12 weeks before she died. We did opt with LeeAnn's permission to do a $3,100.00 spinal surgery in hopes to save her. However, the surgery could not save her. Now, there will never be another Fendi, and we love and miss her so much.This ordeal has left us all heartbroken to say the least, but to top it all off, LeeAnn Vanderpol aka LeeAnn Rost promised to replace the puppy but never came through on that promise. She has lied,and cheated all of us, but especially my 11 year old son who was absolutely chrushed! The update is... we will be going to court shortly, also, brought to my attention recently, LeeAnn is using Vanderpol as a last name too. Please beware of her, she is bad news!!!

I can feel your pain. I actually grew up knowing this woman (LeeAnn Vanderpol) and my family had turned her in for running an illegal puppy farm. The puppies were inbreed and were suffering from malnutrition. She was fined and the puppies were taken. At the time she also had horses that she was not feeding well either. She got a divorce and left Iowa to live in Texas with her mother. She also attempted to kill her ex-husband, then fled back to Texas. Not a good person.
