This is an update to an earlier post concerning this breeder.LeeAnn Vanderpol aka LeeAnn Rost, toycuties.com, Paw Patch Kennels, aka PawPatch puppies. Please see Fendi's story in this forum for the entire story about our Fendi. This breeder out of Venus, Texas sold us a female yorkie puppy with a genetic/conginital spinal deformity. Within a few short weeks after the purchase of Fendi, she became paralyzed. (Possible inbreeding issue)We had this puppy for less than 12 weeks before she died. We did opt with LeeAnn's permission to do a $3,100.00 spinal surgery in hopes to save her. However, the surgery could not save her. Now, there will never be another Fendi, and we love and miss her so much.This ordeal has left us all heartbroken to say the least, but to top it all off, LeeAnn Vanderpol aka LeeAnn Rost promised to replace the puppy but never came through on that promise. She has lied,and cheated all of us, but especially my 11 year old son who was absolutely chrushed! The update is... we will be going to court shortly, also, brought to my attention recently, LeeAnn is using Vanderpol as a last name too. Please beware of her, she is bad news!!!

I can feel your pain. I actually grew up knowing this woman (LeeAnn Vanderpol) and my family had turned her in for running an illegal puppy farm. The puppies were inbreed and were suffering from malnutrition. She was fined and the puppies were taken. At the time she also had horses that she was not feeding well either. She got a divorce and left Iowa to live in Texas with her mother. She also attempted to kill her ex-husband, then fled back to Texas. Not a good person.

You say you grew up with LeeAnn VanDerPol. Where did you grow up at? If you grew up with her you should know her maiden name. Do you?
You say your family turned her in for running an illegal puppy farm? Did you know she was licensed and was never "illegal"? How would you know if she inbred puppies, were you there when the dogs were bred? I know for a fact that she does NOT practise inbreeding. I also know that she was never fined and never had any of her dogs or puppies taken away. This is just lies and slander. This would all fall under NOT TRUE

She did have horses and still does. She would be very happy and proud to show anyone her horses or dogs. She loves them and takes good care of them.

As far as the divorce, yeah that happened. Her husband, Mr. VanDerPol, was mistreating her during a very serious illness and was trying to convince people she was not really ill. It was a very serious arthritic illness that threatened to debilitate her. He divorced her after she fled to her mother's in Texas while she was still recuperating. He then proceeded to file for divorce against her. I really don't see what this has to do with Yorkies and this would fall under NOT NECESSARY

She attempted to kill her ex husband, really? How do you know this? Is she in prison? No, I know for a fact she is not and that he has never been touched by her. She has no desire to harm him. This latest bit of info is just another lie spread by her ex to slander her. Passing this around would definitely fall under NOT TRUE and NOT KIND

I think if you are speaking the truth you would not be afraid to state your name. Whoever you are and whatever your motivation I forgive you. Life is often hard and I am not vindictive.

Oh my word LeeAnn, are you out of your mind???? I cannot believe you posted anything about being a Christian. You lied, cheated, and stole from my family. That doesn't sound very christian like to me! You have never even apologized for what you put us all through with Fendi. If you read and believe that bible then you are to ask us for forgiveness as well as from God, and you are to make things right by us. Well, I know I sure haven't heard from you. So, how about making "living by the truth" your motto? And how about living by "doing what's right"?? You choose to do neither of these things. So, forgive me if I find your claims of Christianity a bit hard to swallow, as does my 12 year old son whose heart you broke into a million little pieces by lying to him, selling him a congenitally sick inbred puppy & stealing his money. No christian woman would have done that! I don't know who StopCrime is, but I sure know who you are. You have no dignity, integrity or respect. You are not a good person. You care nothing for those poor little puppies you use solely for income or for the heartbroken families that spend thousands trying to save them and cannot. You proved that to us all with your care free attitude about Fendi.
Shame, Shame on you LeeAnn. You'll have to run your puppy scam elsewhere, I won't allow you to lie to the people on YT.

I personally have purchased two adorable puppies from LeeAnn. I found her honest reputable and would purchase from her again. I visited her facilities three times and each time the kennels were clean and well kept. There is no way she could have cleaned it up in the time it took me to drive to her facility from my home. Her guarantee requires you to take your puppy to a vet for an examination and you are free to return within the required timeframe. I would think a Vet would have detected the genetic deformity mentioned in this post. Additionally, I have a problem with someone doing that severe of a surgery on a little puppy. The pain of recovery had to be immense. Tucker and Tiffany are adorable additions to my family. I have never had an issue with either of them.

I visited her "kennel" once back before we found our youngest pup... and not only were the facilities substainard and the dirtiest thing I ever saw, but she personally gave me the creeps while talking to her. She had this huge fake smile with these crazy hollow piercing eyes, and her dogs were literally laying in and running through their own feces. I never did business with her just on principle. I guess it was bad enough that it stands out in my mind years later. Also, what sane person speaks about themself in 3rd person? Would not dance that dance willingly, but that's just one man's opinion.
