| Yorkies in Cameroon, Africa??? As I have been looking at Yorkies up for adoption I have found so many Yorkies that are located in Cameroon, Africa. We don't know if it is a Nigeria Scam or something. So does anyone know about Yorkies in Africa???

| It's a scam. Don't fall for it. They'll tell you the yorkies are there. Or they'll say they just sold the puppies to a priest or someone that went to do missionary work. Now the priest realizes that the pups can't take the heat and he wants to ship the back, at a shipping price. There are so many different versions to this story. But the bottom line is to be careful look for local breeders or at least breeders in the same country |

| Yeah thats what we thought. And like the amount of hours it would take for the dog to be shipped here changes from dog. And so do the prices. So no dogs from there. We've received a email from someone in NY who has a Yorkie. He wants $135 for a shipping cost. We're thinking about that one.....how I hope!

| At the moment we're questioning him. I've looked at some breeders located close by, found this one called Bluemoon Yorkies or something and the whole website is about the moon. There is one located a couple of minutes from here. We'll have to look into that.

| Well, I just told him that I couldn't take his dog. I haven't gotten his reply. He might be kind of mad. He seemed mad in emailing me. Couldn't understand whaat he was saying most of the time.

| These scams are popping up all over the net and in local newpapers. If it sound to good to be true ...it is usually is a scam. Stay local where you can go and see the dog in person. This would be the safest way not to get ripped off. You will be able to see for yourself where the pup lives and what condition it's being raised in. Just don't get in a big hurry, the right dog will come along. Good luck in your search. |

| This is definitely a scam. When I was looking for my second yorkie I ran into so many of these Cameroon scams and the most obvious way of telling is that many of these ads are "giving" the yorkies away and say that they only want you to pay for the shipping which was $400 when I cam across them, which made a red light go off in my head. |
