Hi I am new to Yorkie Talk, but I want to get the word out about this breeder to prevent other people from buying sick puppies.

Do not buy any Puppies from Julie Soutullo.(Dixie Pups) It is located in Miami, Florida. She sold me a very sick puppy. I bought a yorkie from her last year. I spent over a thousand of dollars saving the dog's life due to seizures and other health complications! If you have bought a Dog from this breeder and would like to know how to file a complaint. Capone (my dear Yorkie) is now healthy and strong. But please know I was very lucky to have a happy ending to my story. I will post pictures of the lil guy shortly.

And due to your Yorkie having seizures and that not being something considered common in our breed, I'm assuming this may not be an isolated incodent from this breeder. Shame, hope you got some assistance w/ those vet bills!

Thanks for the heads up! I am looking for another yorkie and they are definitely not going to be on my list of places to look! By the way, I am also from Palm Beach. Which part of town are you in?

Capone 17 - I am so glad you found this website. We talked through email I am the won who made that website. This is a great group of people on this website. I just thought I would tell you that Julie found my website today. And her husband left me a comment and this is what he said...

I could not believe he would say that. But I have decided to just keep my mouth shut becuase there is not point wasting breath arguing with these people. Anyway Im sorry I just had to vent...

I feel so bad for both of you.

Hopefully your posts will help the NEXT person who's looking for a yorkie from that place. When we share our own experiences here it's a great tool for future buyers. I love reading the GOOD experiences as well as the bad ...and the net is a great way to research a breeder. Thanks for sharing you feelings and experiences and I wish you all the best with your yorkies.

Well Amanda I believe you are doing the right thing through your web site! I am so happy you did it and knowing my experience with them it made me feel a sense of peace that someone else was speaking their mind about it. Capone is actually with me right now. He is about to go to the groomers! On an encouraging note....Royal Pet Grooming in Palm Beach, FL. is AMAZING! They treat the pups there like people...and they do a perfect job! If anyone is in the South Florida area and needs/wants the best grooming around def take your lil baby there! They have a boutique as well! Capone saya "arf" to all on yorkie talk!

Same thing happened to me, and I was on this board about a year ago. My dog died of Giardia, and it was a horrible heart wrenching death for me and my children to have to go through with the puppy. It was HORRIBLE!!! I had help from these people on the board to get me through it. I have tried to send a message to people, but I still get emails from people that have already bought the dog, and are upset. They did a piece on the news about her too, but that hasn't stopped her either. I took her to court, and won, and she STILL hasn't paid a dime. Now to collect on the Judgement, I need to come up with more money. She is a horrible, gutless person, who has no feelings and doesn't care about anything or anyone! I don't know why there is no way to stop someone that is so obviously committing fraud and animal cruelty. I would love to put our ideas together and finally stop her from hurting any more innocent people, or pups. contact me at myjordash@adelphia.net

I am from West Palm Beach too. I live in the acerage, and I think I have a pg Yorkie. Where do you live?

If you search the archives I believe you will find a thread about this broker..it was on the news here in Florida sometime ago...then a couple months ago some posted they got a sick pup from her also..it died of parvo.

myjordash ...that's just awful your dog died. I'm so sorry and I hope you do find closure - it sure sounds like they owe you not to mention that terrible pain and suffering you went thru - I'd have been DEVESTATED if I lost my Chanel back when I got her and she had coccidia....just devestated.

and I have a feeling HER breeder would have treated me the same way as you were treated....

I can't believe someone would sell you such a sick puppy and not want to right that wrong...the poor puppy. All of them - They didn't ASK to be born and it's up to the breeder or person in charge of them to TAKE CARE OF THEM before they sell them. No puppy should be sick with these problems when they're so easily treated if the breeder takes the time....It's just sad for all parties involved and heartwrenching for the puppies.
