| Is my yorkie mix pregnant? (pictures) Hi! I'm new here! So we bred my sister's one-and-a-half year old yorkie mix with a pure bred yorkie about four to five weeks ago. She has had no signs of pregnancy other than increased appetite, increased nervousness, and increased sleeping. She has no interest in her toys anymore. She just sleeps all day. Tell me what you think. Last edited by Doggieowner; 07-22-2014 at 08:57 AM. Reason: It didn't put in the pics!!! |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | After day 35 for sure an ultrasound can be done to determine number of puppies. There is also a blood test that can be done. Here is the link: Pregnancy Testing in the Dog | VCA Animal Hospitals But in either case you need a vet to tell you what is going on. No matter how many belly pics you might post, we are no substitute for qualified vet care.

| A vet can do an ultreasound to check for pregnancy after 3-4 weeks.....3 weeks if vet is good at ultrasounds! At 4-5 weeks, your vet should be able to visualize pups with ultrasound. Then around day 56-58, you can get xrays to measure pelvic ring /head ratio to make sure the puppies are going to fit and you dont need to schedule a c-section. |
