Senior Yorkie Talker | Raw meat diet? While doing some research, I ran across a site that stated a pregnant b**ch should be fed a raw meat diet. Has anyone ever heard of this? And if so, is it good for the female? I am just curious. YorkieProud |

| I feed a raw meat diet but I've never heard of it being any better for a pregnant dog than any other dog. It is good for them but with a pregnancy you do have to be sure you aren't feeding too much bone especially the last few weeks as the too much calcium of any sort can contribute to eclampsia and uterine inertia. |
