| Question? Have you ever traded or considered trading a female pup for female pup for future breeding? (Hoping that made sense) Would you consider it? Why or why not?

| I was considering it but I really don't know anyone close enough. That is my fear.. the waiting 9 years part. I can definitely see doing it with a close friend. Thanks for your reply.

| breeders frequently trade pups. Depends on what the bloodline is and if you want to incorporate it in your lines. The breeders I know that have done tho always have pups in hand so there is no waiting. I have never done it tho just because I am too shy to ask anyone to trade. LOL |

| I agree with you Pat. If you have a close relationship with a fellow breeder with great bloodlines and need a bit of an outcross. However, I wouldn't even think of doing it with someone I didn't know. It's simply not done with someone that doesn't have an established line or whose breeding practices are unknown.
