| Need help adopting Hello, (I posted this in the regional forum and then found this breeder forum so I thought I'd post it again). My name is Lorisha and I'm trying to find a reputable breeder in the VA/Philadelphia/North Carolina area? I've been researching on the internet for awhile but there is just sooooo much out there and I'm so overwhelmed. I'm looking to adopt in spring of next year because my husband will be back then and we'll be able to train and give time and attention. I'm a nurse and we have no children so our furbaby will be spoiled to death. I don't expect adopting to be cheap, but I want to know that I'm not getting ripped off by a puppy mill or broker. We own our home and it has a large fenced backyard, and our pet will be kept in the hourse with us. Another question: I see puppies listed anywhere from $500-$3000 dollars on the internet and newspapers. What is a reasonable price for a dog with limited registration? Thanks for any help you can give I appreciate it. |

| You're wise to start your research early. There are quite a few excellent breeders in the area that you are looking in. I'm a showbreeder in Va. You are welcome to take a look at my website: Lady Hawk Yorkshire Terriers | I may be able to answer questions about other breeders in the area as well. Happy hunting for your new family member.
