| Sheyleys Milk is Not Enough Well, it seems that Shayleys milk is dwindling and the pups are always still hungry. They are about 3 1/2 weeks old now and feeding about 3-5 times a day. Shay is sleeping with them every night still, but durring the day Shay is spending most of her time away from them. I know it is all a part of the natural weaning process but it seems too early, don't you think? Durring the day when she is hanging out with me, I have been putting the pups on her and I noticed she runs out of milk after about 3 mins of them feeding. Does anyone have any suggestions to get her milk producing more? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is best to supplement the pups with at this age? Thank you everybody so much in advance!!! Your help is always appreciated

| feeding Time to make them up a plate of mush...feed them at least 3 times a day and they will not nurse much. I soak puppy food in goats milk or evaporated milk..add a jar of baby food meat if you like..at their age them will lap if you hold them to the dish. |
