| Pets As Therapy meeting tomorrow! just needing a few extra fingers and paws crossed for Kuki please!? i have been wanting to get her certified as a therapy dog for years, and finally made the call on friday for more info... the lady was lovely, and wants to meet us tomorrow afternoon ! Kuki doesnt have a clue whats happening of course, but i'm so nervous for her! she'll love it once she gets started, i just hope she makes a good 1st impression- and we all know how horrible these kids can be when your wanting that!! and another thing making me more nervous about the meeting- i ran out of her fav biscuit (the only treat she never refuses) a few days ago, and the pet shop was sold out! any therapy dog owners got any advise for to get the 1st meet to go a little more smoothly?!? just gonna watch dexters ruff life back-to-back to calm me nerves!

| Good luck tomorrow! Unfortunately I don't have any advice as Belle and I are just starting basic obedience classes, but you have our best wishes

| That is soooo awesome! Good luck, but I doubt you need it. I am sure Kuki will do wonderful.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Well maybe you can get those treats now. How about homemade liver treats? or roast chicken slices? Get there at least 15-20 min early. Walk her a bit. Do some basic obedience with her, it will remind her and calm both of you. Just easy stuff, like sit, or heel, or down. It sets the stage for her that this is a "work time" and not playtime. Hope that helps
