Are you not finding an item in your order???

Did you get an email about a PayPal or Credit Card refund???

Does it sound small to you???



I have recieved two emails so far about refunds that I have issued... And I just wanted to address the issue real quick....

Here is an email I sent out to a customer... I hope this covers the subject...

" Hello,

You used the 50% off coupon on your order so you did not pay full retail price for the items that I had to refund you on. I'm sure you understand that I am not refunding people twice what they paid. As for not letting you know sooner... I had 200 orders to process and yours may have fallen towards the end, either in picking or shipping and I was unaware that yours was incomplete, once I did, I refunded it. So many orders were placed simultaneously it overwhelmed my site and people were able to order the same items thus creating an inventory issue..... It was a major issue and I'm sorry it affected your order. Any time there is a difference in postage I always refund... so if there was a refund to be given, you got it.

I hope I explained this well enough... I don't always make sense as much as I think I do...

I received one of those PayPal refunds and 'totally' understood that when you have a great sale like that - items will run out:D

Are you sending refunds to those who ordered and things were out of stock OR for people who were not happy with the long wait?

Either way, I would hope that people would understand that they only paid, let's say $5.00 for a $10.00 item, so they shouldn't expect a $10.00 refund. That is silly!:confuse8:

I hope my post in your other thread wasn't taken as rude or anything...I hated having to go to PetsMart and buy a bag for $16 or so.....after I ordered, what, 4 from you and paid the $13 shipping ..... but still....even with all that....you had a heck of a good deal! :thumbs_up

Hi, I havent recevied any refund , but i havent received my order from the 50% off sale, are you still in the works in getting orders out? as im sure you were blasted such it was a great sale... no presure, im just wondering;) thanks:)

It makes sense to me if you only paid half price you would only get half price back on a refund. Otherwise you'd be paying back more money then you received.

No I have yet to refund an order since I have opened... Everyone has always been happy! I have however had to refund a few people for items that were double sold during this sale! :( I was very unhappy with my server for allowing this to happen! But when so many people are shopping at once it was just overloaded!!! It was mayhem! lol

As far as the wait, you have all been so wonderfull and understanding about the wait!

And just to address a comment, not made by you I don't think, but whoever it was by... it does beg a reply... the cost of shipping... I compared the cost of POST againsy PRIORITY MAIL and the differance between the two for 95% of my packages was aprox 50 cents:eek: I prefer Priority mail because your products are not sitting in an environment where I can't control the temp (like wherehouses) for days at a time..... and they spend as little time in transport as possable, they are also handled with care! They also come with free delivery conformation.

Also if I shipped by other means I would have to build into the shipping fee's the cost for packaging... keep in mind that boxes cost anywhere from $1.50 to 3.00 each!!! Shipping priority, that is supplied for me by the USPS, thus cutting down on costs. My mark up is non existent! I cant afford to provide the shipping supplies and don't want to pass that cost on to you. Its much less expensive in the long run to ship priority.

The exception of course is those who order a couple of bows... Sorry guys, there is always a select few of you to which the norm does not apply. :(


Anyway.... Your order is out and all of that awesome missing link will be on your doorstep in no time!!

Hi Kathryn I just wanted to share with you something I didnt know about until recently......the USPS allows you to order boxes for Priority and Express mail for free...You can order it through their website and they are delivered withyour regualr mail. Just sharing...:D

I guess since I didn't get a refund that means I am getting everything that I ordered?

I did know that you can get a flat right box for I think $7 and you can fit a lot into it....it is the flat rate for no matter how much it weighs!
It is a nice size box, pretty big, and lots of stuff fits in it! :thumbup:

Postal rates have skyrocket with the recent changes. I have money on shipping trying to guess at it. I lost almost 10 bucks jus on a few packages I mailed lat week.:eek:

Kathryn, I have sent you a PM (Oct. 17) and an email (Nov.2) about my order. I received all my items, except for one thing that was sold out. On the receipt, it had "refund" next to it, but I never did receive that refund. I would like to order some more items from you, and was wondering if I could get the refund in the form of a credit towards my next purchase? Please get back to me about this. Thanks!

I really hope your comment wasn't geared towards me...I have been very patient about all of this and I'm running out of ways to contact her. She doesn't have to be "Wal Mart" to answer a question that a customer sent over a month ago.

Normally when someone says LOL They are speaking hypothetically or sarcastically. I think she's doing her best in the time this is all been happening and she's a very truthful person. If your in due of a refund she will give it to you. And yes i did need to go to Wal-Mart.

I also mentioned Walmart because they tend to give you full price for something that was on sale if you return it.

To me, your comment sounded like you were implying that I'm being very impatient and expecting too much from her. I don't think I'm expecting too much by asking her to contact me, after I've tried to contact her over a month ago. I understand that with her big sale, she was swamped with orders to process, and I didn't complain whatsoever about the wait time for my order. All I ask is that I get the refund that I'm owed, and I don't think it should take 6+ weeks to respond to a simple email. I wouldn't even mind if she emailed me back just to say my refund is on the way or that she got my email, but the fact that I haven't heard anything from her, but yet I've seen her online on YT, makes me wonder what's taking so long.

I hope you get your refund soon!! I can understand being frustrated and hope it all works out!

Is there a phone number on her site? Maybe you could call her.

I've never heard of it.......but anyway.....she has every right to be curious about a refund that is several months in the making....nothing wrong with that....no matter who the person or seller is...we would all be wondering about the refund too, if it were us! :( Let's be civil people! :justahug:

Have you heard anything yet? I know Kat was busy with court "stuff" and the holiday rush is on too.........but I know it will be taken care of soon!
How much are the phone charges if you call from Canada?

Nothing yet :( I know she's going through a lot right now and I don't mean to come off as impatient or anything. I just worry that amongst all the craziness, it might get lost or forgot about. I'm not sure how much it costs exactly to call to the US, but I don't want to rack up my family's already expensive long distance phone bills. I've called some people in the US before about certain things, and some of them wouldn't stop talking and I ended up being on the phone for a lot longer than I wanted to :rolleyes: If it was a big refund that she owed me, I would try to phone her, but since it is a small one, I don't want the phone bill to cost more than what she owes me lol.

T Doll, you definitely have cause to be concerned ... business is business ... have you heard anything yet? Or get your refund? ... if she has time to be on line here, she surely can go to PayPal and do a refund ...good luck ..

Thao, I am so sorry that you believed you were not refunded this whole time! I did recieve your emails but with the depression that I've been dealing with I've not responded to many nor have I responded to many phone calls. That is no excuse however. I knew the refund had been sent, and I figured you would see it and things would be fine....

If you'd like to go to Pay pal you can look up the refund for your self. it was given on 10-23-07 the day before your package was shipped. your oder was short one bottle of Mango shampoo and since you used the 50% off coupon you were refunded $3.50.

I also upgraded your shipping from First class to canada to Internation Priority to Canada Because I wanted to be sure your package arrived safely.

Again I am very sorry that you have spent all of this time thinking that I shorted you. I never would do this to any of my customers.... My shipping may be selayed lately due to my time in court and the issues going on, but I try to keep mu customers as happy as I can!

Kathryn, thank you for getting back to me. I've heard about your situation and my heart goes to you. I didn't mean to suggest that you were intentionally avoiding me...I was just worried that my emails and messages got lost in the whole shuffle of things. Anyway, I went to look at my paypal and I did not find the refund at all. When I received the package and noticed that you wrote "refund" on it, I went to check my paypal and nothing was there. I can try and send you a screen shot of my paypal record. It wasn't a big amount of money so I wasn't that freaked out, but I had wanted to order some more stuff from your site and thought maybe I could use it as a credit towards the purchase. I wanted to get some hair bands from your site, but I have recently bought some locally since I didn't hear back from you. Does it show up on your paypal that the refund was issued? I've looked through all of my transactions and it isn't there at all :confused:

Did you pay via credit card through Paypal?? if so it would take a cycle to show up on your credtt card statement.....


I am going to contact paypal about this transaction as it clearly shows up on my end.... I can send you a screen shot as well its right there.

There are many screens on Pay pal, when i pull up my normal screen it does not show your transaction however when I pull up the refunds page I get all the refunds I've given, I can evn pull up a page that show all the momies I paid out in shipping! lol Here is a snippit of my refunds page, I highlighted your refund.
