LJ, I miss you too but know that you are in the hearts of many of us on YT. I do hope everyone will participate in the YHR Raffel in July. Linda works all year round for this and its their BIG fundraiser for the pups.

at first I was going to say that it never gets easy, but I can remember re-doing a nose 4 and 5 times before I was happy with it. Now I can do it in 10 minutes. But still occasionally I have to start one all over again. It ust depends on the size of the bear and getting the right look for the look you intend for the bear.

Aaarrgghh! Me, too, on some noses! Ten minutes????!!!!! You are a pro's pro, Lady. Back when I was more active in all things teddy, I remember seeing your bears!

Is the Lee you are talking about the same one that mentors Manola's Mom?

Oh, I met her and her husband when looking for a Yorkie and they were a lovely couple but did not connect her until Lisette reminded me. They very graciously spent a great deal of time with me and had wonderful Yorkshire Terriers. She was a pistol as I recall!

Mrs. Grunewald is one in the same....she's been my mentor for a long long while....I introduced her to Manolo's Mom & Sunnie...

The some of the kids in my Avatar are her breeding.

Wait till you step out of line....you'll know then how the title fits her....However, it's only because she wants the best out of you.....

Sonya...I have been smacked on the behind by her...and it wasn't in jest, and she's made me cry, when she's corrected me....but, the crying was brought on because I was disappointing her....

Don't know how so many of my typed words got left out of my post. What did I do?! Tried to say Manola's Mom told me she was still in Yorkies, that she had mentored some here, maybe breeding one litter a year now. I wasn't suprised that she is still involved with the breed.

She's absolutely involved...we're dragging her to the OKC Specialty....you'll see her at the Denton Show.....

She's slowing down of course; at 82 who wouldn't.....

She's started so many of us, and I only have her to thank for my school of hard knocks, tough task master.

Yes, the bear resembles Lee......she's such an amazing, classy lady. Dresses impeccably.
