Great minds must think alike because as it turns out all of the vendors comments in this thread ARE against the rules: "You may only respond to questions from other members, and not to comments, to avoid continuous "bumping". You may privately message any members if you wish to respond to comments. Failure to meet these rules may result in a closing of your thread. " This would have stopped a lot of problems on this thread if the rules had just been followed to start with! They are there for a reason. |

But, as you know I groom and exhibit yorkies, and pretty particular on what I use on my dogs when I'm growing coat, I do find that it's not a one shoe fits all. But, just might give it a go with my dogs that are already championed and cut down. A few years back Pet Silk was the rage and the preferred shampoo/conditioner for most exhibitors. The reason was is that they addressed every coat texture, PH known to exhibitors. Then they changed the formula and cut back on the wide range of product. This led to a multitude of skin problems on dogs. Hence the popularity of Pet Silk went by the wayside. |

When providing a product to the public, a person should always keep in mind customer satisfaction. The customer can make or break you. |
IMO criticism of this op shouldn't be allowed. I prefer doing business from my peers. Its nice when its a win win. But its crucial to have the tools to meet my needs. I love to get the best price on top of it. But quality is most important. If others can help YT's like Jenny or Ryan its great. This op was disappointed. So why is she wrong? She wanted to support a YT member. She didn't flame anyone. I didn't know why the poster was questioned about who told them WHY a natural shampoo is thin or thick. |
I would just like to say thank you to everyone who has been defending my right to give an honest review about a product. I do not believe that there was anything personally degrading or harshly targeted towards the vendor of Splash and Shine. I was simply stating my opinion and experience with the product. And by no means meant to hurt the vendors feelings. While this product has worked quite well for some, it hasn't for others. The vendor should accept that this outcome is bound to happen and learn not to take it personally- like sending me an upset Message in response to my post. (Which is what she did!!) I agree that vendors should not be allowed to comment on the rewiews posted about their products, as this thread is a prime example of why they shouldn't. This is a product review folder where honest opinions should be welcomed. |
I agree using a soap pump helps prolong the life of this AWESOME shampoo. I'm not going to lie and say I LOVED it at first. In fact it was quite the opposite. But I remember being told that I probably wouldn't like the affect the first few baths. Nothing like an HONEST person. So I kept trying. Better and Better it became. But I personally LOVED the smell from day one! And get compliments on their smell ALLLLLL the time. I have strangers RUBBING THEIR FACES all over my dog ... YUCK ... get your dirty face off my presh! LOL hahah just kidding on the dirty face thing. Not a HUGE fan of the conditioner but then again I've only used it once or twice, and lost it in one of the three moves from apt to mom's house to our own house. Going to order more asap. |

I think you did a great job conveying your thoughts. People need to learn how to take feedback (I think Walnut Hill took it well and professionally, explaining asked questions etc.) take it for what it is or leave it just the same. Without hearing a person no one can really know the tone and inflection they put into their words. I did the same thing. I got a sample a long time ago and honestly did not like it, and was afraid to tell her/send the pm I typed up giving her feedback. It came down to the only shampoo I had left when the store stopped carrying my favorite brand so I used it and ended up LOVING it. Another great natural flee preventative (for us FLORIDA gals) is Flea Free. This stuff is AMAZING!!! Works on all bugs (fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, etc). I LOVE IT! It says to use daily but I use biweekly, if that. |
