YHR Cloud 9 Bed

As I've posted many times, the cloud 9 beds by YHR are a favorite in our house. I own 4 of them and also have 3 cloud 9 puff beds by YHR.

Teddy is a major couch potato. Not only does he love his bed, I've identified other uses of the bed............

1. LAUNCHING PAD: Teddy uses it as his "base" or "launching pad" by anchoring himself to the cloud 9 but springing into action upon some household activity of interest to him (the doorbell ringing, the fridge opening, etc).

2. TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE: Teddy is so lazy that he must be carried from point A to point B in his cloud 9 bed. If we do not take him in the bed, he wont go with us. He will firmly stay put. Even if we all leave the room, taking cookies with us, he will stay committed to his cloud 9. So, to be able to spend time with him, we take him AND his cloud 9.

And................last night, I learned of yet another use of the Cloud 9 Bed

3. DEFENSIVE SHIELD: This one came as a surprise. While talking to my petsitter last night, I asked her how she did with the kids. She knows them well, but this was the first weekend she did overnights and had total responsibility for them. Apparently, Barney was bullying Daisy at feeding times. I suggested that next time this happens, she put Daisy and Teddy in their designated spots first, and just tether barney to a chair so he has to wait. This would be the safest for all involved. She told me that wasn't necessary, because of the Cloud 9 Bed. She used it as a shield to protect herself and others from Barney and tossed him green beans across my kitchen to safely secure the others (and herself).

I just cracked up at the visual, but cautioned her that Barney would think of this as a game, and probably had great fun with her, and would step it up to new levels if she let him! He is very smart!

I thought this use of the bed was just another great reason to have so many of them. If I buy enough, perhaps she can build a chinese wall between her, the others, and mean old Barney!

This bed is just WONDERFUL. I had Willow at the groomer and when I brought her home she ran out did her potty and then she saw "THE BED" OMG she jumped right in and stayed there.

I think I may have to order another one as Lizzie wants it as well. LOL

I got the Yorkie Love pattern and it's so darn cute.

If you have more than one yorkie...do yourself a favor by a bed for each one. My two love theirs and you are helping the pupsters!

The Yorkie Love print is almost gone...not even sure if we can make any more of them. We are busy making others and will list them in the near future.

I love that so many pups are loving them!! .. and the fact that they have done so much good for the YHR pups!

Ladyjane, do you take requests for fabric? Or are you willing to make beds out of fabric that could be sent to you?
I would really like a bed out of some super soft fabric, like minky fabric....my sister has convinced me that this is the best stuff ever and I think Snickers would love it.

If you send a request through the YHR boutique, perhaps someone can make one with that fabric. I personally will not make them from it. I only use cotton and flannel. We do have a couple of more adventurous members. :
