Next Gift Exchange - When??

Thanks to the GE I have become really good friends with some wonderful ladies. That friendship means more to me than any of the gifts. And I have received so many wonderful things. But had I not received such beautiful well thought out boxes, I know that I would have friendships that last forever.

great example... I think of you as a very special friend. You had Remy in a ge... I loved everything we had in our box! I could tell you thought about each gift. It was the spring board for our friendship I think.

I agree Shinja! I had you (Remy), Lisa (Sugar), and Michelle (Bogie)in the GE. I had wonderful GEs! And we all are such great friends. What a blessing!

I know you won't like me saying this but it got out of control as far as I'm concerned and unfortunately became a who can outdo who for SOME members.

I know this is controversial here, but I'm again speaking my peace regarding this. I've had people ask me to join. If I'm told $40 to spend that's what I would spend...now who wants to be my buddy? Infact, I couldn't and wouldn't go above that.

Now some of you will come here and say awww, no its the thought that counts etc., I say baloney...I've seen the behind the scenes chatter....and I've seen the fights over it.

So this is my 2 cents on this matter.

Lynzy, I hate this is the way you feel. I hope that you can talk with these other people and the will come here to express their feelings, thoughts, and opinions so that it can be addressed.

Here's my plan for the next GE and my first. I plan on spending $125ish on items not including shipping and a teaser or 2. This will not include things that I might make that might have more value or something I get on sale.
If you wouldn't like to be my buddy b/c of my plan... just PM Admin and tell them you have me on ignore. BUT with saying that if I get a really good friend of mine on YT... I can't keep this plan b/c my heart will be somewhere else.


But if you wanna be my buddy... Crimson does have a nice wishlist growing & I will share! HA! <--This is really a joke!

RUDE, AND SMILEY FACE AT THE END RUDER. This is exactly the crap I'm talking about. Save your $125 for the person you get that isn't your friend and the $125+ for the IF you get a friend. No I won't be joining the GE and yes I can afford it. I just know there are many others who can't, and they won't speak on it and so I can and have spoken for them and myself.

Really? I wasn't speaking at you about being my buddy. You have made it very clear your not doing it at all. I don't get smileys are rude? This wasn't a rude post at all. I was giving my thoughts on how I plan on doing the GE. And the reason for the post mainly is to get you to get your buddies to chime in on their opinion so everyone can address them. I said that about if I get a friend b/c there are 5 people on YT that I talk to everyday. I know what they like, have, and want.

Well, that's your opinion and everyone is entitled to one.... I can't help that me putting amount out that for everyone to see seemed rude to you. If people have a problem with my budget... then they are in the GE for the wrong reasons and prob shouldn't be my buddy b/c I budget everything and try to never use credit cards. And I love the smiley faces. It gives you expression b/c you can't always tell online or text. But when your speaking to someone you can tell by the voice change or face expressions.

Yep! I didn't do the last one b/c I didn't have a job but I watched and posted on a few theads because I enjoyed it. And if I get one of my YT besties... I might be cutting my neighbors grass for extra money to spend on them(And I don't cut my own!) but I may also stick to my budget. You just never know what may/may not come up! I hope that my budget helps people to decide to join b/c I'm not gonna spend $300.00 or will I spend $40.00. What can you buy with $40.00? One gift? I'm a giver.
