I've been following this and another GE hint thread and think I'm not nearly smart enough to get into one!!!!! Does this mean that the member has an iPad or what? I don't follow that closely because of my eyes right now but are the hints about the member or their dog or both? Tryin' to get my bearings to see how it works and if I could do it w/out mastering the dog/baby talk because I never can keep up with that. I can't even figure out a lot of what it means. Do you have to guess to get to be the buddy or is that already written in stone and the guessing is just for fun or does it govern when the box gets sent - not till the person guesses their buddy? I could read the rules but with my eyes, I have to limit how long I can be on at one sitting so I'd rather ask ya'll if I can. Thanks and sorry, Lisa, won't hijack further!!!

Hi Jeanie, it's just for fun. The clues aren't even a requirement of the GE. They are clues that pertain to the pup that each of us were assigned by Admin as our Secret Buddy.

It does get confusing and some clues/hints are tricky and some are just generic statements that are easier to follow.

So does the YouTube video probably mean the member who is Lisa's SB has an iPad or has ever posted her dog plays video games - is it trying to suggest something like that as a hint who it is? Or were all those videos on that page relevant? It's confusing. I swear I could never go the hints part well!

It could mean anything! The dog is playing air hockey so it COULD mean that the SB is a hockey fan...like Zeus and I!

Jeanie some of us don't do a lick of baby talk ( I abhor baby talk - I have a hard time even reading those clues)

My clues are ( by designe) very obscure. I could be saying in the iPad video that I read somewhere that my SB has a dog who loves to lick people or things

Put me in the category of not easy to follow hints

I had to be really tricky in a few GE 's ........ And now those old habits die hard!!

The dog isn't licking the screen though. That's what I thought it was doing at first...but its just using its nose. Now that you say THAT though I'm not so sure we're eliminated!!! I have mentioned Luma loves to lick!

Nope. Wouldn't do that! Want to see what else goes on so I can try to learn how to do this. And I haven't had any flu medicine!!! haha - remember that thread and your PM because I was out there?!?! LOL! But the thirsty was my first clue and then the 8 and maybe I can do this part of a GE. Ha! I'll have to wait and see. I'm probably dead wrong but thirsty and licking and iPad and....well........At least I wouldn't have to try to speak in baby talk but I don't know if I could ever figure out some of it! haha.
