aother thing that would be good to know, is of there are family members in the house either fur or skin, sometimes I have seen where the SB included the other kiddies in the family. Lola is on only child, no skin or other fur babies in our house just a crabby DH, and LOL he does not even know about the GE:D also for those of you that dress there pups do you like to have a hole for d ring to poke out for your leash to attach to, or do you like the D ring to be attached to the outfit, with Lola we need a sideways d ring, she has the step in harness which she wears under her clothes, or if a d ring is attached it needs to be secure, she is an active little walker always trying to chase any little critter she encounters. Also what lenght leash do you like, I have had some custom ones made to match some of our outfits and was surprised to find the girl makes them only 4' long, that seemed so short, so I have been getting them made longer at 6' and 7' long, it gives her more room to roam. |

I LOVE Coffee!!! I frequent Starbucks so much that the baristas know my name, order, and occasionally give me my order for free or at a deep discount :) Favorite scents? anything sweet, vanilla, bakery type scents Candles vs. candle warmers (scentsy, etc.)? I would love a candle warmer but I do candles too. Candy? twix, sour patch kids...anything sour and chocolate but ew not both together haha - oh and I also hate nuts and peanut butter. Do you like bubble baths? Yes. I need to clean my tub though haha Favorite bath product scents: I love most of bath and body works scents - Paris Amour, Moonlight Path, Secret Wonderland, Sensual Amber - basically sweet smelling scents Any allergies: nope Mommy's favorite color: green! then second fave would be a bold pink Do you prefer pet items (beds, baskets, etc) to match your home decor or are your yorkie's favorite colors okay? yorkies fave colors are okay. Does your yorkie wear collars/necklaces? She does not wear a collar but she says she wouldn't mind wearing pretty necklaces. Do you prefer a signature for your box? Yes. It's getting shipped to my boyfriend's house this time around and his neighborhood is hmm questionable haha Anything you forgot to add to your sign-up post: Mia has an older brother Geno. They are exactly one year a part. No skin kids for a while (phew!) so it's just me and the furbabies! Mia has a very explosive personality. She is a major lover to other animals and people and is ALWAYS giving kisses. She also is very needy aka does not like to be left alone - cries for me even when i'm on the other side of the gate and will come in and out of the bathroom while I shower. She is very cuddly too and loves to snuggle with mommy and her big brother. So now you have an idea of what kind of girly girl you are dealing with lol On the subject of things to get her, she'll love anything for sure! We probably could use something to hang their leashes up on. I can't really think of anything else to mention other than have fun and don't worry about us not liking something. My babies and I are a VERY easy pack to please :) |

I gots nuffin like dat rite now and I lub my name! And it is L-U-M-A not with a "N"!! Sometimes hoomans get dat rong :( Is wif a "M". But I no yew wudnt get my name wong Santa!! Lub, LuMa Mommies: Do you drink tea/coffee/wine? Starbucks coffee all day every day lol! I also really love super cute mugs and collect them. Favorite scents? Girly and sweet! For candles, bakery scents like cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, etc. Candles vs. candle warmers (scentsy, etc.)? Love both! Candy? Not huge on it, but white chocolate and peppermint is good. :) Do you like bubble baths? I put this question in on purpose :rolleyes: because I. LOVE. bubble baths :D Favorite bath product scents: Lavender + Vanilla Any allergies: No Mommy's favorite color: Same as Luma...PINK! Bubblegum pink and baby pink to be exact. Hers, she has excellent tastes ;) Does your yorkie wear collars/necklaces? She lost her collar, so yes! Necklaces are fine too! Do you prefer a signature for your box? Oh and Luma is an only child, its just me, Luma and her daddy Tony. A d ring slit is nice because I prefer the leash to attach to her harness. |

Yankee Candle McIntosh Apple, Bath & Body Warm Vanilla Sugar Candles vs. candle warmers (scentsy, etc.)? Both! Lol. I usually buy Yankee Candle. Would love to try scentsy. Candy? Nerds!!! I typically drink decaf green tea, but I also like ginger and fruits. If I go to Starbucks it’s for a green tea latte :D And we are big wine drinkers. Favorite scents? Not. Vanilla. I like mostly everything else. Fruity over flowery though. I typically go for apple, melons, etc. and never bring home “fresh” scents or vanilla. Candles vs. candle warmers (scentsy, etc.)? Candles, but I don’t have any candle warmers. I’ve been eyeing Scentsy for a few months though… Candy? I actually don’t eat candy – not a very big sweet tooth. Do you like bubble baths? Yes, but haven’t had one in years. Favorite bath product scents: Same as the candles Any allergies: No allergies, but I’m lactose-intolerant and cannot digest red meat. Not that anyone would be sending me a steak! She mostly just watches Zeus and Ody though... |
Who besides me is excited, LOL I can't contain myself I have checked my phone and computer a zillion times to see if I had a message from admin with the name of my SB. Last night I went shopping with my yorkietalk friend Kazzy and was going nuts because I did not know if I have a boy or a girl so I did a lot of looking and planning........ I have internet sites bookmarked and some stuff pre orded but on hold waiting for the details on who Lola's bud will be. I just sent everyone a PM that has not had a chance to respond on this thread yet, wanted to make sure they don't miss it. Perhaps we should make this the official add anything you forgot or questions you have thread. This way we can all check in here on a regular basis. Also what's the deal with the clues, since this is many of our first G E, are we doing clues and how do they work. Oh and teasers, I have a few planned and scattered around the country waiting to go out, LOL if you got a teaser from MI I thought that would be a dead giveaway. Guess you can't tell I am excited:D:D |

you know I hate to say it but I am getting a lit bit tee'd off, with YT I just read on another thread from a veteran GE person that the signups must have been extended because the thread has not be closed, do you guys know that? well if that is the case I doubt anyone thinking about signing up would know it since they still show the date to be 10/31. I also sent an email on 10/31 asking to extend it to both the moderator and to admin. The moderator got back to me saying probably but she would check with admin. I never heard back from either of them. Yesterday I sent one to the admin saying I don't think anyone else is going to sign up, and asked when will we get our buddies because I would at least like to have had some of the weekend to shop, never heard back on that message either. So who knows if it is closed or not and if it is not when will it close and if we don't get our buddies till the end of next week does that mean the deadline to shop get's pushed back. I don't mind waiting, I just mind not knowing. |
Donna, I wouldn't worry. I know everyone is anxious to find their SB but the last few GEs have extended over a couple of days. It's really no biggy. A couple of people signed up through 3 days past the "closing date" and we have 1 so far, which is great! :) I would expect that we will get our SBs tomorrow, if we're going considering previous GEs. As for the deadline being pushed back, I don't think that's a problem. But, really, if you're 2-3 days late past the deadline, I would hope that no one would freak out about it as long as you make a post to your SB :) It'll be worth the wait, I'm sure! Personally, I wouldn't mind pushing the deadline back to, say December 10ish. That way it's closer to Christmas when packages arrive! :D |
I don't mind if it is pushed back, but why not advertise the fact it was kept open, why not change the thread title to Sign up extended three days or so forth, otherwise how are people to know. The reason we had the one late sign up was because I PM'd Cess, Lilo's mom and asked her to join on the last day, right away she said she was afraid it was to late, but I told her to go ahead, otherwise she would not have signed up because she thought the deadline passed. So keeping it open for several days longer and not stating that is probably a waste of time because the first thing people read is the first post that states the deadline. I just had a few emails from past GE people and apparently there are late sign ups all the time, but the shopping deadline does not get extended........:( I am a communicator and I guess I naturally expect when someone runs an event they communicate changes in the rules as they occur. |

She loves bully sticks, she uses Yorkie Splash n Shine grooming products. I love small toys that make noise or light up! Keylo has a sista named Lola and a brother named Cedric…they are both older and teaching her the good and the bad! BTW my mom is so excited to make some reallz specialz thing for our buddy!
