Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Thinking of joining another GE. Hi everyone. I have only done one GE in the past and havn't been online in quite a while so it was about a year or so ago that I last took park in an exchange. But I really enjoyed the exchange that I did take part in and I had a wonderful buddy. I am thinking of taking part in the next GE, not the one for May as I travelling to Turkey in June so couldn't afford to spoil our buddy as much as we want to this time. But hopefully we can take part in the next GE which is around July/August am I right? I just wanted to check with other members how they feel about possibly having a buddy from the UK. As I know most members here are from the US, would you be dissapointed if you had a buddy from the UK? I know I pay money towards my buddies shipping but I would hate to think my buddy was slightly disspointed to have a buddy so far away as I know it could be more expensive than it would be to have a US buddy. Please let me know your thoughts on this so that I can make my decision, and please don't think I will be offended if you would prefer not to have a UK buddy because I wont be I promise!

| I personally would not mind if I had to pay a little extra for a buddy in England

I have already seen lots of cute things to buy for our buddy if we do choose to take part again. I only wish we could take part in May's GE but I have lots to save for in April and May so I wouldn't have enough money to spend on my buddy as I would like. I think it's best to wait until the next one when I can really spoil them.

| It is just the shipping that is more right? I don't think members would mind at all. I think they are aware that some of the buddies might be from other areas. So I say go for it and sign up!

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Yeah it's just the shipping, and if I remember right I have to pay admin some money which goes towards the cost of shipping for the other person. I'm really excited about it I only wish I could afford to join in on May's GE.

| oh... I would love to have a buddy from another country. It would be exciting because I could spoil them with neat "American" stuff that would be special to them and if they had us we would be spoiled with neat stuff from their country.

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | I like that idea too, because in the last GE Poppy received some lovely gifts that we can't get in the UK. And hopefully the member who received our box got some things that maybe you don't have in the US.

| Wow that would be cool. I think it is neat how buddies in different parts of the US find things that I have never seen. Another country would be super awesome! Sounds like someone is going to get a special buddy in August.

| Location doesn't matter to me. It would be fun. The shipping doesn't bother me either. |

| If you had us as a buddy, I would love a UK, England flag or whatever (World Geopgraphy is not one of my strong points lol) on a doggy shirt. That'd be so cute!
