Daisy didn't ask if people believed in Santa Paws to insult the believers out there. It's just that at Daisy's age you question the existence of things like Santa Paws and when she was a little puppy, Barney told her he wasn't real. Teddy said Barney lied to Daisy and that Santa Paws is the dude that leaves them cookies and toys at christmas.

Daisy doesn't think mommy would let daddy wear that ridiculous red and white suit Santa Paws wears so she thinks Barney is the one lying for sure. Either way, she is making gingerbread pajamas (or a nightie) for her Secret Buddy along with a Christmas Stocking. In case Santa Paws is real.
