This hint came after the hint I was referring to.

Do you remember megansmomma posted a picture of her state's license plate? It is for Illinois and on the plate it says "Land of Lincoln." For a long time I thought Bogey was your buddy, then I figured this clue out about the state capital and realized Maddie was your buddy.

That's when she sent me a PM and I asked if I could help and she said anything to distract would help....so I started implying that your buddy was a boy!
