Getting closer...(to sending out gift box!)

Ok, not to sound stupid but this is my first GE. What are you doing to decorate the boxes?

Last GE our buddy liked the color green so we decorated the box in green wrapping paper, and then used a sharpie to draw on it and then covered it all with clear packing tape!

This year we are...oh, wait, I better not say, might give too much information away!!!

Im almost done but awaiting the arrival from a pretty hefty order from bowbiz (hint hint lol). Should arrive any minute and then I (insert wicked laugh) *might* send out soon, hehe. I dont know if I will decorate the box. I cant even draw a stick figure lol

We are still waiting on stuff to come in so I am not ready to ship out just yet. Once it all gets here then I will send it out. I don't wait till the end unless I am still waiting on stuff. As far as decorating the box goes that just depends on what is going on in my life at the time. LOL I do wrap the presents inside the box but normally don't decorate the outside of the box.

Me either! My SB will appreciate very much that I DONT decorate the box- otherwise they would have to pretend and gush about how pretty it looked and they would be LYING!

Not that I have seen. When they do decorate it they usually either wrap it or they draw on it and put stickers on the box. That is what I have seen but I have not been in all the GE's...only a few with my older girl.

I am waiting on one more item and then mine is ready. I have a target date of sending out next Monday. Is that too early? My box is packed and ready except for the one thing. Ready to go!!! I hope my SB is excited as me and Rosie have been putting this together for them!!!

I think it is fine to start sending now- I will send mine out as soon as it is ready now- I am still waiting on some items though- so probably not until next week for sure.

I agree!!! Start sending out those boxes!! I think it is more fun when the boxes arrive over a spread out time period instead of all at once. It gives more of a chance to enjoy each box!
