Can't wait until next exchange! I can't wait till the next gift exchange. I participated in the first one (I'm pretty sure it was the first one) almost 6 years ago! That was before you had to be a DM. Anyhow...the tough decision will be who do I submit? Sophia or Peyton? I can always do the other one in the next exchange! So, it will be February, right? So fun!! I actually see things when I am out shopping and find myself wishing I already knew who I would have so I could start looking around! |

I think we will do it again also. Since Cooper did it last time it will have to be Max's turn. But, knowing Cooper he'll probably go in a corner and pout for the entire month because he's not included. Then when Max's package arrives he'll be first to open it, steal Max's gifts and then taunt him. Cooper is so clever though, he can be included by picking out our SB's gifts! |
I am already looking forward to the next GE also, for Princess to participate in. I have already made sure I started purchasing some items early for the next GE. I was hoping there would be another GE around Valentines Day. I already have things ready for this "theme". And have ideas for things I will make to include with things purchased. My Daughter is wishing there was a group like this to do these GE for our Pom. I bought him a few new toys and treats for when Princess received her box, so "Ty" would not feel left out. He loved having some new things too! LOL!!!! |
Im looking forward to it too, I think we will enter again because we had so much fun. I will make sure I get tracking this time though as that package worried me too much LOL! |

Excited I am with Perrella. I cannot wait for next month so I can sign up for the new GE. This will be my first one and I love to shop so I figure it is a good thing to do :D. I have 2 so I am trying to choose also. Jillian has several dresses and bows so I think I might let Jackson go first. He is my shy but sweet baby. I took this last one off but I think I am going to enter again for the next one- plus Valentines Day seems like a great occassion to shop for. Armani was entered less time, so I guess it is Chloe's turn- although Chloe has A LOT of stuff and Armani doesn't so hmmmm... will be a hard decision! |

You become a donating member when you donate money to YT- you need to donate $25 in order to be able to participate in the GE's however. |

I checked out the GE rules and it seems we cannot participate in the GE until we have 250 posts. That will take awhile. Why is that a rule? Just curious. |

I was so excited about joining this GE. Yesterday I had my name drawn to go Los Angeles in February for a reading conference. Needless to say, this Mississippi girl is VERY excited. Now I will have to save all my money for the trip!!! Everything is paid (airfare, hotel, etc.) but I will have to pay for souvenirs, some meals, tours, etc. So I'm happy about the trip, sad I can't participate this time. But believe me, Sophie and I will be joining in on the next one!!! |

I didn't sign up for this last GE and really felt like I was missing out when all of the fun started. But for those who participate time after time, what do you do with all the "STUFF?" I still have a rubbermade tote full of toys, clothes, and other great gifts. I dole them out a little at a time to my 3 but I also still buy for them (I can't help myself!) so they have way more than they need. That was my main reason for not signing up. I just already have too much stuff! Some of the great gifts I got in the past are in constant use -- Ben's bow box & leash hanger, a couple of primo toys like the monkey that makes monkey sounds, (Ben thinks that is his buddy) and my return address labels!! I loved the super thoughtful framed Bible verse that reminded me of my late husband too. So don't want anyone to think I have not appreciated our gifts. I think it is just that I got 2-3 VERY GENEROUS secret buddies in a row and I may not run out of stuff for another year! :D I am going to think on it but if I don't sign up, it won't be from lack of interest -- it is only because of lack of space and non-lack of doggy stuff! Y'all are so great! |
FLDebra that is such a thoughtful thing to say. This is my first year in the GE. I have decided to only sign up one for this one and see how it goes. You are right though. Everyone on here seems so nice and thoughtful. |
I was only going to sign up for maybe one GE a year, but I had so much fun last time that I have to do it again! :D I cant take part in every GE though as I would have no room for all of Poppy's things LOL. |

I store some things for the future and for when I am going on vacation (I always have my petsitters give toys in the middle of the week so the babies have a burst of excitement). I usually find that with my three who play with toys all the time we need to pitch some and replace. So GEs always come in handy. Barney can destroy his latex toys in a couple of minutes, but he loves them so much that I just keep buying them :D I like to do the GE because it is fun for us to make a box for our buddy and we always find that the boxes we receive are so thoughtful. |
