New ge signups start soon - who is in??

I think the detailed information is really helpful to learn what people want or dont want. It's like a Dear Santa letter. Not every kid is getting everything on the list, but usually Santa brings one or two list items that make the kid happy.

It's the same with the GE.

The minimum is $25 and although some GE people are CRAZY with what they send (i wont name names Dee Dee and Dex), not everyone is. I know we love to open our box and don't really care what is in it as long as it is not something we can't eat due to our medical conditions. I say it on our threads when we sign up because I'd hate for someone to spend money on us for something we just can't use because it might make us sick

So, don't be deterred!! Play if you think you will have as much fun as the rest of us do!!

I am hoping to join the ge this time, but I am nervous that I won't send enough items....some of the boxes I saw pictures of were filled to the brim with about 20 or so different items. I know $25.00 is the minimum, but what do people usually spend on the items...like I said, I don't want to send a small box and have our buddy be disappointed.

I'll be honest and say that I spend more than $25. But I don't expect any more than that in return. You could make something or buy something on sale too. I think many of us try to fill the boxes with many items but alot of those items are things on sale or things that we make. There are lots of places you can buy discounted dog items too - Even petco and petsmart put stuff on deep sales from time to time. And there are dollar stores, places like marshalls and home goods that sometimes have cute little dog items. I can sew and every time I did a GE I made items or little show bows. I also have a friend who makes fleece stuff and she and I have made stuff for each other's buddies.

You should not feel worried!!

Im still deciding............Its Toby Tyler's turn, but were going camping for two weeks in May, so Im just not sure.....I dont want to miss any of the fun!

I would really love to participate in this GE but our internet is completely down and I will not have many opportunities to use the internet during the next month! I loved participating in the last 2 GE's.

Today is the 13th and there are only 13 people signed up. How many usually participate? I was just wondering since we have like 42,000 members.

I think it is around 30 or 40, usually. Don't worry, because a lot of people wait until the very end to sign up.

I REEEEEEEAAALLLLLY want Snick to be in an GE, but I'm worried. I would prob spend like a crazy person!! (My hubby is gonna kill me!!) Come on girls, tell how much you really spend!!! I would NEVER want to disappoint anyone either.

The last date to sign up for this current GE is April 30, 2010. It is detailed in the first post in the GE Signup thread here:

The signup period will end April 30, 2010. You will receive your Secret Buddy information within THREE DAYS after the end of the signup period. If for some reason you sign up and can not participate in this Gift Exchange, you MUST notify us before the end of the signup period.

We were going to skip this one but then remembered her birthday is on the 1st so we cant skip her birthday month GE!!! Oh and sorry to whoever gets Juicy for some reason the font is so tiny on the sign up thread. We are so excited cant wait to start shopping.
