This is the link that explains it, but basically after signing up and Feb 1 comes you are given a secret buddy, you shop for that secret buddy, you try and leave hints so your secret buddy can try and guess who has them and visa versa. Last GE was our first and it truly was fun shopping and reading hints etc. We had a great buddy and received wonderful gifts! The dogs loved it just as much as we did! Read some of the posts from the last GE. You can get a good idea as to how it works.
