Donating YT 500 Club Member | Next exchange! Woo Hoo! I'm getting such cute ideas from seeing what you guys did on this gift exchange! Looking forward to the next one so I can use these "stolen" ideas...LOL Whoever in the past thought of this exchange...marvelous idea and Whoever thought of photos deserves a hug for sure! I never realized how much pictures could make you feel there...LOL I do have a question though....do you suppose it means that our Yorkie (Taffy) is needing more vegetables? She seems to be the only one eating the tissue...I'm thinking her body is craving more plant life or something...LOL Actually, Sarah and Maddy, you should see our lliving room (great room really...open floor plan) now. You would think you shipped the energizer bunny to Taffy because your gift box just keeps on giving and giving and giving...LOL She is managing to shread the microscopic pieces of tissue that are already dotting the floor. We look like we've had a tissue ticker parade and we've already cleaned up twice...LOL At least your tissue paper is brightly colored pink and green and offers a nice contrast to the paper napkins that someone's husband left within Yorkie reach. Oh the joys of puppyhood and the nightmare messes of fast food napkins! I so wish I could get a decent picture of how she piles her new toys on her new UT bed. I can't decide if she thinks she's protecting them from the floor flood of shredded paper or if it's another new way to proclaim her "all mine" status. Of course, there is also the possibility that she's waiting for them to hatch because she sits/lays on them to keep them warm, too! Everyone have a good day today...can't wait to see/read about more delivered boxes later! If I can "torture" Taffy by pulling her away from her play, I may play dress up with her. I'm dying to see how cute she's going to look with all her cute new things on but I'm hoping to catch her in a mellow (translated "tired and cooperative") mood so I can get photos! |

| Talk about getting ideas from someone -- I think your gifts and suspense-filled cards before hand have given many of us ideas to help brighten our exchange packages next time. I am already feeling like "I can't wait!" I see how the gift exchange grew so much. Everyone wants to do a little better each time they participate. I keep thinking, "I wish I had thought about that!" when I read through some of the GE threads. I should be keeping notes! I still can't believe I hesitated to do the GE for so long. I keep thanking Juicy and Carlene in my mind, everytime I look through their gifts to us or watch the puppies play with their new toys. I think of Maddy and Sarah everytime I see a Monkey Daze dress, a skull decoration, or see one of Sarah's posts. It does make people seem more real than before. I too, thank the person who originally came up with the idea. What fun!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Linda, I'm still giggling over the pee pads... Every time I go into our kitchen, I think of the placemats that match Taffy's pee pad! Too funny and I'm so glad Christina's such a good sport! |

Debra, you are right, every time I see my boys playing with a new toy or give them a new treat or just look at my placemat and treat container or walk them on their new leashes I think of Deb and Taffy and all the thoughtfulness and wonder why I never did the GE before and how my words cannot thank her enough! This was special and Im definately IN the next one for sure!!! This was a blast!!!

| Haha! I feel the same way! I really can't wait until the next GE. Do we really have to wait until August? I have lots of "stolen" ideas as well- planning to be more personalized and crafty .

| Oh I can't wait for the next one either! I will sign my other furbaby, Pixie, up next time so she can share in the fun. She is a little more shy than Harley, so she might not be quite as much fun as it has been with Harley. And the shopping for Gracie2006 was great! We have had so much fun shopping for her and making the scrapbook for Mom! But I do have to admit I was really stressed out this month hoping that I was doing everything right for our first GE. I have learned alot and will hopefully will do better with the next one. And I do enjoy reading and getting to know others better with each thread that is posted. I hope everyone has enjoyed this as much as I have. |
