| Recommendations for cute yet practical collars and harnesses Hi everyone! I will be bringing home my 2 new babies within the next week. Here are a few things about my babies and my preferences: -My baby girl is already 5.5 months old, but is pretty tiny at around 2.5lbs. -My baby boy is almost 8 months old. He already has a long, silky coat. -I love long coats and will be growing out my girl's and maintaining my boy's long coat. -I love bling, bows, flowers, charms, etc. Ok, here are my concerns. I love all the cute collars and harnesses with the big bows and flowers as well as those adorned in bling and/or charms; however, I am concerned that with the long coats, that their hair might get caught in and pulled on these things. Also if any of you have bought the "blinged out" collars, have they held up? I would love links to any websites that you all recommend. Also, I would love it if you would share pictures of your little ones wearing their cute collars and harnesses. |

| I have Dolly with full length hair & she only wears the thinnest harness I could find, only when she goes out. The long hair doesn't work with clothes or even harnesses (for us at least). She wears a topknot ornament/bow everyday & also usually is wearing a necklace which doesn't pull on the hair. Teena's hair is shorter & she wears clothes everyday-no problem. My recommendation would be to not invest too much until you have the pups & see what works for each dog. Good luck!!! Good luck.

| I feel like you could buy a simple harness from the store and take a trip to the art store and decorate it yourself. Maybe you could sew plastic around the harness where the jewels are so that the hair doesn't get caught. Just some ideas. |

| My Phoebe is in full coat & gets matted if I dress her, so she's mostly naked lol. I love bling too, so I got very flashy collars. Unfortunately, the bling doesn't really show up because it's hidden under her long hair. As for harnesses, I LOVE & will only use Chokefree harnesses (I bought mine from YT member lil sis). I add "bling" by using matching topknot bows & collar bows.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I use cat breakaway collars. . . They have a lot of fancy and stylish ones I use Buddy belts harnesses. They are wonderful. Maximo ( Kristin ) sells them. Check out her website Buddy Belt Harness She has great customer service and can make sure you select the correct size. Galen's coat is 1/2 way to full coat. and Kristin's Max and Teddy are in full coats
